Sony PlayStation VR - Headset Only
Sometimes referred to as the PSVR, the Sony PlayStation VR headset was first released to the general public in October 2016. It is intended to be used in conjunction with the PlayStation 4 and it is a popular item for those who wish to enjoy the growing selection of 3D games offered by Sony. This unit can work in conjunction with standard PlayStation Move controllers as well as the DualShock 4 system.
Video and Audio Information
The Sony PlayStation VR headset is equipped with a 5.7-inch OLED display that offers a resolution of 1080 pixels; generally sufficient for most HD games currently on the market. An internal processor also enables this VR headset to share video images with a television as well as to incorporate three-dimensional audio effects with the use of a standard 3.5 millimetre headphone jack. 360-degree movements can be tracked and this device is able to support HDR videos.
A Host of Games
There are currently more than 50 VR games which can be played with this unit. However, it is also important to point out that non-VR platforms are also supported. The majority of user reviews have been positive since its release. Please note that PlayStation VR requires the PS4 camera for initial setup which is sold separately,
